Brigitte Mottet

After her postgraduate studies in Oceanography at the University of Liège, Belgium, Brigitte obtained an Upper Secondary School Teaching Certificate. She pursued her education at the University of Rhode Island, USA, on a Rotary Foundation Scholarship. As a qualified teacher, she later taught geography, current affairs/modern studies as well as social science and economics at several state secondary schools in Belgium. In 1987 she moved to Serres, Greece, where she worked as a French and English tutor. In 1994, Brigitte founded a language school in Thessaloniki. In addition to running the school, she has been involved in local NGOs. She enjoys hiking, organizing school trips and daydreaming.
